Position: Associate Systems Engineer
Location: Santa Monica, CA*Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 USD hourlyPOSITION SUMMARY:We currently have an opening for an Associate Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Santa Monica, CA.MAIN DUTIES:Working as part of our facility’s engineering group, the associate systems engineer will help deploy leading-edge computing infrastructure, perform systems management and maintenance duties, as well as provide support to artists and production personnel.This is a unique opportunity for a technical professional with a strong desire to continually learn new skills and further cutting-edge technology projects hands-on. You'll be working with HPC technology and the most renowned creative crews in the industry in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.WHAT YOU BRING:The ideal candidate will have the ability to reproduce and escalate issues; implementing root cause analysis to identify and correct system faults. They will bring an understanding of technical documentation and diagrams for customized workflows, as well as the ability to follow best practices, in house technical documentation and established procedures when they exist. They must have the ability to travel to/from customer facilities and end user locations for system deployments and configuration, and simultaneously manage multiple customer cases in a demanding environment. Additional desired skills include:

• Linux (CentOS), MacOS, Windows Operating system knowledge
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic Video/Audio signal flow
• Ability to act independently and proficiently while in a high stress level environment
• Act as a key point of contact for assigned technical tickets
• Must be available to cover SLA hotline: nights and weekends, on-call duty required on a rotating basis (Holidays included), overtime is expected
• Perform cross-functional roles with projects and systems support, as assigned
• Must be flexible for last minute support requests from end users
• You will be required to learn color calibration for monitors and theaters along with basic image science concepts
• Experience in the technology support-related field
• Previous experience in a post production environment is preferred
